Teamwork Pays Off for FFA Homecoming Float
With
dedication, commitment, and teamwork, the Atwater
FFA’s efforts paid off with a first place finish
during last week’s Atwater High School Homecoming
Parade. This year’s theme was based on Walt Disney
with “Dreams Do Come True”. The Atwater FFA designed
and built their float based on Disney’s “A Bug’s
Life”.
“We
had over 100 students assist with the design and
construction of the float,” said FFA Float Committee
Co-Chair Marisa Jorge. Students committed their
early mornings, late afternoons, and early evenings
putting together the float over a month long
process.
“The
experience was well worth it,” said FFA Committee
Co-Chair Sandra Flores, “We took pride in providing
our community an enjoyable float.”
