Most of these annuals grow 1 to 3 ft. tall, and to 2 ft. wide, producing colorful spikes of flowers in spring and early summer. Among the best flowers for sunny ­borders and cutting, these are at their best in spring and early summer. In regions with mild winters and hot summers, will bloom in winter and spring. Available in most colors. Individual blossoms look like dragon heads; kids squeeze the jaws to make the mouths open. There are also double forms, bell-shaped flowers, and azalea-shaped flowers
