Recommended:
Introduction to Shop Skills
This
course is designed to develop knowledge and skills in small
engine maintenance and repair. Students will develop skills
pertaining to tool and small engine component
identification, parts specifications, engine operation,
engine repair, maintenance procedures. The program will
stress hands-on experience in all aspects of the operation
of a small engines repair room.
This
course provides the student eligibility for all FFA
activities throughout the year.
Power Mechanics
Required:
Small Engines
Designed
for advanced students, the course content included advanced
shop skills, hydraulics, electronics, heavy-duty electrical,
conceptual physics, and basic welding. Small engines are
used to teach advanced small engine technician training,
entry-level diesel mechanics skills, and conceptual physics.
This
course provides the student eligibility for all FFA
activities throughout the year. |
