Introduction to Shop Skills

Introduction to Shop Skills is especially designed for 9^th grade students interested in developing skills in:

·                     Wood Working

·                     Plumbing

·                     Electrical

·                     Welding

·                     Metal Fabrication

·                     FFA / Leadership

This course serves as the foundation course towards advanced courses in welding, metal fabrication, small engines, and power mechanics. Content areas in job safety and tool identification are included with “hands-on” learning and various projects to build take home, and showcase at the annual county fair. This course also qualifies students to participate in all FFA activities throughout the year.
