Internships in Agriculture I  (ROP)

Requirements:

·                      11th / 12th Grade Student

·                      Current or Past FFA Member / Ag Student

·                      Instructor Approval for Non-Ag Student

Internships in Agriculture provide the student with a basic knowledge of agricultural occupations and careers. The course provides “hands-on” training in entry-level positions in the areas of agriculture business and communications, agriculture mechanics, animal science, plant science, floriculture, and horticulture.

Examples of job/training sites include local veterinary clinics, metal fabrication businesses, various agriculture business offices, equine/livestock farms/ranches, etc…

This course provides the student eligibility for all FFA activities throughout the year.

Internships in Agriculture II  (ROP)

Requirements:

·                      Internships in Agriculture I

Internships in Agriculture II is an extension for students who were enrolled in Internships in Agriculture I last year. The course provides the student with a basic knowledge of agricultural occupations and careers. The course provides “hands-on” training in entry-level positions in the areas of agriculture business and communications, agriculture mechanics, animal science, plant science, floriculture, and horticulture.

This course provides the student eligibility for all FFA activities throughout the year.
